In the past 2 months or so we've started offering open-box versions of your favorite blind-box items. Meaning stuff that you usually have to buy blind-box are made available as individual items so you can purchase exactly what you want in a set instead of shooting in the dark. But to do that we have to actually open the box and packaging to see what's inside.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you like having that option or would you rather just buy them blind-box?

i buy blind first then go for open box.. who knows, maybe u will get feric on the first try :)

@arelius: Well yeah, we'll always offer both. But it's a good bit of work to open lots of boxes, so I'm just trying to get a feel for people's thoughts on the matter.

I think it's great when shops offer open boxes. Sometimes i don't like the whole series and i just want some particular toys of it. And the other thing is, as mentioned by Riot_Grrrl that you don't have to end up with a lot of the same figure.

yeah i may buy a few blind box. but rather than get a tonne of the same one i'll opt for open box!
but an option is nice!

I think it sort of works both ways, I love blind boxes but on the same note I also wound up with like 3 cowboy Munny accessory sets which really sucked. I say blind box for fun, open box for a purpose

I love blind box. If you end up with extras trade someone for something that you don't have, or something you wouldn't mind two of.

after buying 3 of the same fatcaps, i am totally convinced that opened is better.. although i am lucky that where ever i have gotten open-box some of the bags had not even been opened or the box.. i think some of them have psychic toy abilities! lol
unless you want to spend on a case..which i may have to do for sket-bots..
only good thing about blind box is the chase.. and i have gotten 2 of the same ice-bot chases with heart eyes except the skier..which i want most, ofcourse
there are not too many sites that offer chases so i think its a game of chance, which can be good or bad
