What would make you choose Fugitive Toys over other sites?

There are a number of other online toy stores around and I'm curious what would make you choose Fugitive Toys over other stores. Ultimately...what are the deciding factors when choosing a place to purchase from (such as price, shipping, etc etc)?

Sometimes it can be cheaper to buy from a US site if you are in the UK, but you have to balance that against the shipping costs. Joined the forum cos its stateside and I saw the collections link on another site, having always only just observed forums I thought why not take part instead

But a value smooth transactions, fast shipping and good communications very much.Sometimes I don’t bother to look for the best price and just buy the stuff from someone that seems like a nice guy :) It’s always more fun if you have some kind of relation and a positive attitude to the seller. Your forum and collections area’s a great way to build your brand and make good relations with your customers. As it seems that most of the stores sell the same stuff, for more or less the same prices, I think exclusives may be a good thing. Like wizarduniverse’s the only merchant of the El Panda bruce lee version. Have to get back to you, if I come to think of someting else and manage to put it down in english ;)

What already sets fugitivetoys apart from most other sites, is the nicely structured design and overlook of the shop and the site! Most sites just aren't user friendly! The decision about from which shop i order depends on if the toys i want are there to buy! I'm not always about the newest stuff, so i look for toys that became a bit rare. I think diversity matters a lot! Fugitivetoys is no doubt one of my favourite places with a nice shop and a cool forum! I just hope and think there could be a bigger variety of art toys. The bigger the variety the more customers buy stuff!

4/27/2007 at 4:10am sidewalking1 Posts: 795	agree with Twisted that the look of the forum is very casual, easy on the eye, and not like an online business form, and it would also be great if you could increase your range of art toys. I like to find diversity, and would sooner buy a cheaper cost toy cos I like the look of it, rather than jump on the bandwagon over an expensive piece. I'm not hardcore, but I do love the vinyl scene, and yes, I'm mad about it, and buy what I can afford, (I cant really!), if I genuinely like the piece. But I think the scene is way overloaded with ebay flippers, increasing prices, and even the 'big' players themselves are creating too much elitism, which is going to cap it and maybe stunt it, cos it will ultimately freeze out the little guys and any newbies with real love (not profiteers) from becoming a part of it

4/29/2007 at 4:45pm rhymetimechild Posts: 1000	i prefer to buy from independent retailers.. i feel they value their customers more. this site is a little gem because it has great prices and one on one customer support. it makes me feel secure to know that i can order online or by phone. major brownie points=) the communication at Fugitive is great and everyone is super friendly.. everything is packed pristinely and shipped very fast. what more could you ask for, a toy store/forum/collection area plus more all in one! Fugitive Toys represent!
